Monday Road Conditions - March 18, 2024

 Community,   

A big thank you to all the volunteers who worked throughout this storm event to improve the road conditions for everyone. 

Access Road:  Narrow lanes, snow snow pack, icy in places,  most folks can travel without issue, but extra care is required. 

Lower Filings:  Travel lanes are narrow and snow packed / Icy / Slushy.   If you go out, please be prepared with chains and a shovel. 

Upper fillings: Most roads are open, but narrow and very high snow berms on each side.   PLEASE only attempt with a high clearance vehicle and chains.

If you have propery on one of smaller side roads, it may not be clear for a few more days

Over the Rainbow Ranch will continue to work to improve road conditions. 

Please avoid parking on roads while we continue to clear snow, this is a safey issue and grealty slows progress in clearing the roads.

The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for this weekend.  Details can be found here.  Per the advisory, "Considerable uncertainty still exists regarding the specific strength and track, and therefore potential snowfall and impacts" so please check the forecast and prepare for safe travel this weekend.

Possible Snow - Week of 2023-11-06

Road Work - Week of Oct 9-13th 2023

 Peers, 

This week,  both A-One and Foster Dirt will be working on the mountain.   Please expect equipment on the access road each day this week

A-One is planning to finish the chip seal work on Tuesday Oct 9th. Work to start around 9am, with fog coating starting around noon.  Work is forecast to be complete prior to the afternoon school pickup.  Delays could be up to 20 minutes.

Foster Dirt will be completing final touches,  applying mag chloride to specific high traffic areas and the access road.  Delays should be minimal. 

Please travel with care and give plenty of room to our contractors.
