Foster Dirt was selected by the county to perform our summer work.  Justin Foster and his team have been supporting our community for a few years.

Please be careful and courteous on the roads as the Foster Dirt team works.  If you have any questions, comments or requests,  please focal point them through the PID.  stormmountainpid@gmail.com

The warm season road work is underway,  a quick summary of planned work:

  • First priority - Access Road

    • Grade high traffic volume roads - upper and lower filings
    • Apply mag-chloride on high traffic trouble areas; Near the T,  Near the 4 way on Palisade, high grade area on Lakeview/Storm Mountain drive   (We may consider a 2nd application in the fall as budget permits)

  • Phase 2:  - Grading
    • Touch-up grading high volume roads as needed
    • Grade remaining lower volume roads in upper and lower filings

  • Phase 3 - Project Work
    • Clean and repair ditches and culverts as needed
    • Apply road base on damaged road sections as budget allows  - priority to high traffic areas
    • Clean up down timber / encroaching timber as needed

  • Season Close-out work
    • Patching of damaged chip seal
    • Grade and mag-chloride on Access Road
    • Touch-up grading on high volume roads,  potential to apply mag-chloride if budget permits
